I was once betrayed by a friend in school, and I felt hurt and confused.
One day, I came across the hymn, “My Intimate Friend.” I was deeply moved by the lyrics: “Even men do wrongs to You, The wounds You still can endure.”
I thought of Jesus on the cross, the very people He loved rejected and betrayed Him, yet He still chose to forgive.
In that moment, I felt comforted. God understands my pain, and He gave me the strength to forgive.
I may have lost a friendship, but I gained something greater, a friendship with God that will never fail 💛✨
