In the past, I often compared myself with my peers, asking the Lord why I am not as good as the others around me. The comparison with others got worse when I go on social media, where people flaunt their achievements, wealth, and luxurious lifestyles. Consuming these contents everyday affected my emotions and how I viewed my own value as I felt bad about myself.

There were times where I questioned the Lord why I am not doing as well as my peers even though I spent a lot of time and effort to attend church meetings and draw near to Him.

I give thanks that the Lord helped me to realize His love plan towards me more and more. Now, I know that everything I go through in my life is full of His love and consideration for me, and He will prepare the best for me. I do not need to compare myself with others because I am unique in His heart and I am His most precious darling. My highest value in Him was proven when He was willing to die for me on the cross. This love is far better than all the love combined in this world!

The world may use all its ways to tell us that we are not as good as others, but in Him I know that I am far better than what the world tells me.
