Due to National Service (NS), I am unable to attend most of the church meetings. However, I still draw near to God by myself everyday and each time I experience gaining strength from Him. Although I face challenges and tiredness from the NS training everyday and there were many times when I felt like giving up or simply to stop giving my best, the Lord reminded me that He is always with me and helping me through the ups and downs in life.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10 ESV

I really treasure the Lord for what He has promised me in this Bible verse. His promise always stands and will never change. I find that drawing near to the Lord daily gives me the strength to accomplish all my tasks, and lets me experience how He takes care of all things for me. Without the Lord, I will not have the strength and motivation to overcome all my challenges ahead.
